lady_t_220Ooooh, I think JR's giong to buy me a new scanner for my birthday. It's only a hunch but the phrase "Do you want a new scanner for you birthday?" rather gave the game away. THIS PLEASES ME.
He got a refund for an unneccessary bank charge this morning so he's feeling magnanimous. I'm not in a position to argue with this, even if said refund was actually less than a fiver. S'all good as far as I'm concerned. He's still on about getting a colour laser printer and networking it as well, which is a thrilling prospect if only because I'll be able to print things and not have to buy the replacement cartridges myself.
I need to run the hoover round tomorrow morning. The place is accumulating dust again. How does that happen so fast? It's like tilting at windmills keeping on top of it.
I was hoping my Third Star DVD might arrive today. It dispatched yesterday so in theory it could have. Estimated delivery date's not till Friday though. So I shall sit and stare sadly at my letterbox every morning until it arrives. And then I shall sit and stare sadly at it even when it does arrive because the ending's kind of gloriously depressing. :D
