I have some random Queens of the Stone Age song stuck in my head... That one with the Larson-esque far side video with the deer that's strapped the band to the hood of his truck.

Odd...

Mum's gone to bed early, seeing as she really is randomly feverish and manky. The boywonder and I threw together some cantonese turkey (subbed for chicken, as aparently we have no chicken in house) for dinner this evening, which went down well enough.
JR said mum could retire and we could have permenant cooking duty. I told him only if he didn't mind Chinese every night for the rest of eternity...

I do cook other stuff, of course, but he doesn't need to be reminded of that.


Feel a little *feh* this evening. It seems like everyone around me has come down with some kind of cold or manky bug or another, and it really is the last thing I want right now. I can see the bastards laying dormant till Wednesday when they'll flare up the second I get home for the first afternoon of my holiday. Because it's guarenteed to happen.
