Fandom blather

Sometimes, like right now, when you're being boring and filming a movie I'm not especially interested in, my attention begins to wander and my head is turned by exciting new fandoms and the impossibly slashy delights of our beloved Auntie Beeb.
And then someone goes and posts a picture like that and I remember why I want to jump you so damned hard.
Now if you'd just grow that hair back again, cause I'm really not loving the current close-cropped look, I'll be a happy little fangirl once more.
Talking of fandoms and hair, it seems to be a running theme right now. The new series of Spooks starts on Monday so the ESOL has been doing the promo rounds and I don't know what made him pick that hairstyle but from certain angles it makes him look a bit weirdly like Jeremy Brett. I do not aprove of these shennanigans. Very much do not approve.
Likewise, every time I see a current picture of Cucumberpatch I really just want to Brush. His. Hair. Oh my God. Buy a comb, you hipster dork.
