New Hardware!

lady_t_220I have my new monitor! And it is sexy and black and quite shiny and needs to have its controlls faffed with a little bit because the brightness and contrast are all out askew from ideal (Oh, hello adobe gamma control panel, yes, there you are...)
May take a touch getting used to again, the colour reproduction's different (obviously) and I'm at a whole new angle to it cause it lives in a whole new part of the desk with a whole new widscreen resolution. Ooooo.
I've not cranked it up to its full potential of 1920x1080 cause it's now located waaaaay back on the desk and I'll probably go blind squinting at something that small. But on the super bonus side, I am now no longer going blind with my face against a hugenormous monitor either, and I have space on my desk for my tablet. Woo!
Knackered this evening. Went swimming earlier and got leered at by an elderly Jamaican gentleman at the pool.
Uhm.
