lady_t_220Went to the city. As expected the rail guards are still on strike. Trains are both late and running a skeleton service. Took a while to get there.
As expected, had comics at magic lab. Unexpected though, found a bunch of things I was expecting from last week aren't making an appearance until next week. *rolls eyes*
Dumb exports...
Did however find a Wizard with the Wolvercover (Yeeeey!)
On the flip side of that and into the downright fustrating, Empire are holding out on me, the bastards.
Literally, went all around Leicester in my usual shop-crawl and not a single buggering one of them had the new issue. Not one. Bugger all, zip, zilch, nadda...
Actually, this brings about a thought. Apart from whoever it was that scanned in the Empire pics DD found and transcribed the article on JL, has ANYONE (Uk specific question) actually managed to get a hold of the Wolvercovered Empire yet? Everywhere I look it's still last month's Agent Smith cover.
Cause, you know, seriously... one pretty large town and one entire freaking city both showing no signs of a mag that was supposed to be out last Friday seems a little strange to me.
So, that left me kinda' down... I really want those pretty, pretty pictures. Like this one, for example...
But then something spiffy happened... wandered into HMV to stare pointlessly at stuff and lo and behold, not only is there another album I want when I get paid next week but... X-men 1.5!! *dies in a big squee like heap*
So even though I swore I was going to save some of my wages from Friday, I had to... I really, really had to...
Hmm, exceedingly skint again now for the second week running, a little unfortunate seeing as I was doing so well with the saving but... *eh*... fandom happens.
And seriously... X1.5... It's not physically possible to wait an extra week for that...
Next week though. next week, just my comics and the album I want and that's IT... really... I promise... unless there are any poseable plastic wolvies or anything and then lord help me. ;)
