Phonecalls and Miscellany

lady_t_220The G-ma keeps phoning today. Mostly for no real reason. Well, she'll give a fatuous one and then veer off into dissecting long-ago percieved slights like all the world is out to shun her and she's decided today is a good day to give full attention to manifesting her persecution complex.
I have, therefore, stopped answering the phone. The moment she got all into how she'd been invited somewhere and then ignored and not even offered a cup of tea when everyone else had one (which I know is not true because I was there at the time) I pretty much tuned out.
Will hopefully get round to listening to the Sherlock commentaries soon. DVD is sitting right here, waiting for me, but with the G-ma repeatedly calling I didn't want to have to get into that stop-start thing that is so painfully annoying.
The maternal and JR have taken the Boo out on a trip somewhere or other. (They're Boo-sitting tonight and tomorrow, as the Beany and the Bug are going to Gulliver's Kingdom tomorrow for the Beany's early-birthday-outing, and the Boo is still a bit too small to really be able to take part.)
Also Rapidshare and I are having a disagreement. It's sharing is really not so rapid, at least not unless you give them money, and frankly that's never gonna' happen.
