In exciting news, I was informed yesterday that a friend of mine has one of her short stories included in This Anthology.
Which is a) great in its own right, and b) exciting for me cause I got to read through the early, in-progress drafts. (A process I am not going to aggrandise as really anything more than pom-pom-waving and you-can-never-have-too-many-airships-ing but, you know, kind of thrilling none the less.)


Trying to decide how I want to redesign my LJ. If I'm gonna' change it, I may as well make it into something I like. Just trying to settle on a motif.

(Well, that and work out like... how. Uh... Yeah so I've been cruising for tutorials and increasingly I wish there was a 'customisation for MORONS' FAQ because CSS makes me want to cry. I'll get there eventually but I reserve the right to have a tantrum about it.)
At least I found a way to get my flist colours back.

The color is kind of pretty, a sort of blue-gray that is pleasant to the eye, but is was a sort of shock to see it instead of the dark blue, which I like, too.

Yeah, LJ fucked up the S1 layout support so it'd been displaying completely white since the beginning of the week.
Unfortunately it ate the colour codes and they were set so long ago I don't actually remember what they were, so I figured *eh* if I can't get the same colours I may as well change it completely.
