Oh, did you not know? he has a bit-part in Jenifer Garner's new movie 'Butter'
It's a satire about political ambition set in the world of competative state-fair butter carving. Hugh plays her high-school ex-boyfriend for about 10 minutes of the film.

Fair to say, I don't actually remember where he's supposed to be from but it's set somewhere in the Midwest.
Of course where his character's supposed to be from and where his accent's come from are frequently two different things.
