Aug. 5th, 2010 09:29 amThus dawns my last morning of domestic peace and quiet... I need to run the hoover round and finish the washing up and pull the bins back form the kerb which I forgot to do yesterday after they were emptied. It's all so terribly exciting and all that (and to be honest I'll be amazed if I actually get round to doing any of it because I really am crap at that sort of thing. Procrastination is a great skill and one which I apply regularly. Especially in regards to housework.)
In particular when I can get so easily distracted by things I want to buy. Why is it, I wonder, that when I have no money I can find 300 things I just cannot wait to have, but when I have money I don't find anything worth spending it on?
