lady_t_220*waves farewell at the diet* Well that lasted a long time. Just made peanut butter and banana muffins. Added extra peanut butter. Forgot to subtract regular butter in proportion. Came out a little greasy. Tasty, but greasy.
Not precisely a culinary disaster, more like a c-saster than a d-saster. Not exactly ideal but a whole grade less stoopid than the alternatives.
Saw S and her kids today. Was half expecting to see them Weds and had originally intended to pop into town today for the obligatory library visit and such, but never did quite get that far. I have done an INSANE amount of laundry instead though. I started off with 6 loads and then it just kept appearing from other places and then I got into that whole mindset of "Well if I'm doing all this I may as well do that too..." so it expanded to sheets and towels and those garments that lurk around because they've been worn a little bit for like a half a day so aren't really dirty yet aren't quite clean enough to just go back in the closet, but haven't really been worn since... which accounts for 90% of the crap on my floor...
Anyway, between all of that nonsense, I re-watched eps 1&2 of Strike Back for a little ESOL fix. Damn, he's pretty when he gets a good whumping.

On the topic of which, I see Sky have Decided to go ahead with a second, longer series next year. Which is good for me, the fanservice was happily worth sitting through the boring, shooty bits.
Though I still don't know what a Taliban encampment was doing with Makeshift BDSM equipment and a bottle of baby oil. We may perhaps never know. And in the end it matters little, so long as it gives me a reason to keep paying the cable bill...
