He's one of those people I know I've seen in something, I can just never remember what it was. Even cruising the IMDB I have no idea why he's so familiar.
A lot of theatre, random episodes of things like Miss Marple, Fortysomething (with Hugh Laurie); the BBC enjoys his obscurity and uses him quite often as a character actor. I think this is only the second time he's been at the helm of something. Films: The Other Boleyn Girl. Amazing Grace.
Annoyingly, I had that saved to download at a later day...yeah, well, two years have gone by since I bookmarked it (god's sakes) and now the links are dead. Hmmph.
What a great picture! My Mum actually said to me, "The new Sherlock is very like Dr Who". Well, considering it was written by the same person.... *lol*
But crossing realities is bad! Bad things happen and then there's void-stuff and we all know what happens with void stuff.
On the other hand in a sort of recursive, meta kind of a way, Cumberbatch could totally play Conan Doyle, and the Doctor could absolutely meet him then.
