hobbit_chan and gourami_tea that in an emergency it IS possible to make cake in a microwave.
The emergency being that the oven, through a series of unlikely events, was not functional. A state we only discovered AFTER the cake batter had already been created.
So microwave cake was had by all, and a great deal quicker than the oven it was too. The only major disadvantage being that it doesn't keep more than a couple of hours without going inedibly stale so *HORRORS* we had to eat all the cake in one go.
We HAD to. To not eat it would have been wasteful.
We also cursed at it in mangled, shouty attempts at Spanish because they were Dora the Explorer cupcakes and those who have spent any time with children of a certain age know exactly what an annoying little shitbag that character is. When I take over the world that show will be first against the wall, along with Carrie and David's Popshop and anyone who ships Sportacus/Stephanie.
