Just realised I totally forgot to blog anything yesterday. Which pretty much in and of itself says how much of a non-starter my day was. The maternal made a cake, I made some blueberry muffins, that's about it really.
Going to gourami_tea's shortly, possibly for the weekly swim. I don't know, I don't think it's been decided yet. Certainly for some company though, as she had to have one of her ferrets put to sleep yesterday. He'd developed an enormous, inoperable tumour in his spleen. It's very sad, he was a stupidly sweet, cuddly ferret.
:(

So anyway, I shall be toddling over, armed with muffins and bolognaise as it's my week to bring lunch.


Back home at the ranch, JR has some sort of lurg going on right now. No, I don't know what. He's just doing his man-flu thing. He has *counts* 4 days to get over himself. I think he should probably manage that.

Vet said considering how young he was and how advanced the tumour was, he was most likely born with it. So the poor sausage was a bit buggered from the beginning.

Yeah. Vet said that she'd never seen a spleen so huge, let alone in a ferret so young. She guessed that given how young he was and considering how advanced the tumour was, there's a chance he was actually born with it.

Awww.... I'm so sorry about the ferret. It never gets any easier, losing a beloved pet. :-(
