Oh that was delicious. Yum. Just the way a Sherlock story is supposed to be, right down to the slashy subtext. XD

HEE! The slashy subtext that everyone else sees but them. XD
I lol'd.

LOL Oh yes. That's a good thing about bringing it forward in time, they can actually make jokes about them being married!

And Sherlock being all awkwardly "I'm flattered and all, but..."
*facepalm* *lol*

Awww. And he was so cute being all awkward about it!

And just in general, the whole show was surprisingly funny.
Though I guessed the Cabbie as soon as the black cab paused, I was kind of bemused by why they were more interested by the guy riding in the cab than the guy driving it.

My only other qualm is that Benedict Cumberbatch has such an amazing name, and I ALWAYS mis-read it in my head as 'Cumbersnatch'

It was immensely entertaining, yes. And Benedict Cumberbatch was born to play that role, right down to the name... which I'm now going to misread as well. Thanks a lot!

How many episodes are there? It seemed there would be more than this, yes?

Yeah, there are 3 90-minute episodes, so we've got 2 more to come and assuming that the ratings remain good (Moff said on Twitter that they got 7.5 million on Sunday night) then I'd expect to see another run.

I like the movie-length format as well, nice to get a whole adventure and not have to wait on cliffhangers for a change.

Oh goodie, two more shows! *rubs hands in glee*

The movie-length format is a nice change. Feels like the story can breathe. Although how Moffat's had time to work on this and Who is absolutely beyond me.

Well at least Who he can delegate a portion of the eps, and he was co-writing Sherlock with Mark Gatiss anyway (MYCROFT! I squeed!) so it's not ALL on him, but yeah... busy guy.

Maybe this is how he relaxes best? The man's mind never seems to stop.

Oh, and did you see the tie-in site? http://www.thescienceofdeduction.co.uk/ It even has the explanation for the green ladder txt! My favourite bit is the forum, though...

Yeah! I saw it linked from Watson's blog.

Oh, Auntie Beeb, you do so love your tie-ins...

This one is rather inspired, though. John's sister bickering in the comments! The Beeb is developing tie-ins to an artform in itself.

I guess this is what BBC nerds get up to when the threat of funding cuts are looming... write fake blogs, cause it's cheap XD

LOL So true. And if they can get it to go viral then it's more than paid for their time.
