Jul. 19th, 2010 12:07 amOooh, puuurty... Kind of want. Do enjoy a good jigsaw now and then.
Mailed in an application for an admin position at the Uni travel agency. Figured it can't hurt to attempt combining the concept of work with something I actually have some form of passing interest in.
Though you notice my lack of enthusiasm regardless...
Finally got round to making a decision on the paintings I got back from the gallery guy though. I've taken them off the stretchers for now and rolled them up, which means I can flat-pack the frames until such time as I can be bothered to get new canvas for them. As to the paintings themselves, I'm contemplating dissecting them to use for something else. Don't know what yet though, so they're currently sitting rolled up in the corner. Contemplating using them as collage material for greetings cards or something. I don't know yet, I guess I'll have to experiment and see what happens. All I know is there's no point in keeping them as they are. The colour work on them I think is quite nice but I don't like them as whole pieces. So perverse as it may sound, chopping them up into pleasing chunks may actually be the most productive way forward.
