A successful shopping trip was had by all, though as is the way I wound up spending rather more than I intended. But on the plus side I got some new Lush stuff, and some cropped PJ bottoms for this summery weather, and finally got around to buying a new bag. It's white and purple and has demented butterflies all over it but, more importantly, it has a frickin' shoulder strap. Never underestimate the importance of one of those.

Hope all those of you on the other side of the water are enjoying your 4th July-ing. I enjoyed mine with rampant consumerism.

Demented butterflies? Boy, could I do a lot with that.
Thanks for the holiday wishes. After spending two weeks with daughter, son in law and new grandson, I'm happy to do absolutely nothing this weekend. It's quiet. It's boring. It's perfectly good that way. Besides, quiet and boring stimulates the Muse like nothing else. I got several pages of torturing Logan written today.
