Jun. 29th, 2010 07:21 pmIt rained this morning though the temp's still been relatively high, so as a result it's been gross and humid all day. On top of which we just had curry for dinner cause there's nothing like hot weather to make me CRAVE spicy food for some reason. The combination has conspired to make me a little damp.
...and that sounds a lot filthier than it really is.
So anyway, I am now full of balti and enjoying the iced green tea I made this morning and idly contemplating the second shower of the day. Which reminds me that I want to dye my hair again but I'm going swimming on Friday so probably shouldn't as that particular dye is liable to leave a purple trail after me in the water.
Which reminds me that I can't decide if I should dye it before I go on holiday cause, again, swimming... but on the other hand it would look awesome. I guess as we're swimming with kidlets I could probably manage to keep said hair out of the water given as kiddy pools only reach about hip-height. (No jokes about dyed pubes, please, I know where your minds were going.)

Date: 2010-06-29 08:32 pm (UTC)Um, yeah... anyway, spicy food.
Of course spicy food is eaten mostly in hot countries, and bland food in cold countries. I wonder if the heat of the food actually raises the body's tolerance to the heat of the climate in some way?
