Jun. 27th, 2010 11:20 pmDear interwebs- UK peeps especially
Techy question.
Firefox gave me an update alert this evening (V3.6.6) and I dutifully updated, only now the BBC iPlayer is not loading properly. The Beta version of the iPlayer works, and embedded BBC videos elsewhere such as on BBC Blogs load fine, but the current version of the iPlayer seems to be not displaying most of the scrolling menu controls and the program pages don't display the player or any media.
Doesn't seem to be affecting other sites I use, just the iPlayer, and the old version still works fine in IE.
Anyone else having this issue? I noticed that the update lingered for a while during its obligatory checking of extensions and java whatnottery when it re-started so I was just wondering if it hiccupped when installing or if it's just a random bug.
To which ends really I'm just wondering whether something buggered itself up and firefox needs re-installing, or whether it's just a glitch and I should just ignore it and switch to the iPlayer beta.

Guess I'll wait till the next update and go for a fresh install maybe. Either that or just beta view if nothing else is being problematic. Which so far it hasn't been.
