Ugh, it's hot again today. And not really the fun kind of hot, it's not even particularly sunny, it's just still and close and a bit revoltingly sweaty.

Heading to Sarah's when mum and JR get back. She wants to escape Dan and the football and I'm all for anything does doesn't involve fleeting patriotism in the name of watching over-grown schoolchildren get paid millions for kicking an inflated bladder round a field (while getting beset by what sounds like a swarm of vuvuzela BEES) so we might go and sit in the park for a while as it'll probably be entirely empty except for a handful of similarly-minded misanthropes.

Today I am exposing my BLINDINGLY PALE SHOULDERS to the world. Blindingly pale. Even I looked at them and went "Damn, those are some pasty shoulders..." when I put this top on.

Washing and ironing all my bedding in the heat wasn't the best idea I've had. I had to have a second shower after I'd finished due to the horrible, sweaty thing.

I'm always amused with how the English, first sign of sun, all the males rip of their shirts and walk around like over cooked lobsters.
Seriously...WHY!!!

BECAUSE WE DON'T GET THAT MUCH SUN HERE! When we have it we have to make as much use of it as possible and attempt to make an entire year's worth of Vitamin D in the space of three days.
