Jun. 5th, 2010 04:35 pmFuuuuuuck I am so sleepy...
OTOH, I did do some fantastic shopping today. I have books! And I have tops! And I have shoes! The shoes especially I am pleased with, as they're red and have cute heels and were only £5, down from 25 because there's a slight mark on the suede on the side of one. Well there'll be worse marks after I've worn them a couple of times so I wasn't complaining.
Also picked up Sherlock Holmes on DVD with a voucher I had for HMV. I'm still aiming to upgrade to blu-ray at some point but that kind of involves upgrading my Tv as well, not to mention issues of region code when contemplating the capabilities of DVD upscaling. One must consider issues of importing when investing in technology. My DVD player has given faultless service for over a decade, it was a very sound investment. I wish to carefully consider my next one.
Also found a cache of Georgette Heyer paperbacks with the Lulzy 70s cover art in one of the charity shops. For 50p I had to grab a couple. They do amuse me so. Which is good cause as soon as I've finished re-reading Good Omens again I'm going to have totally run out of things to rot my brain with.
