lady_t_220Buncha random stuff today. For some reason my boss has subtracted an hour from my times last week. I said I finished at 12:30 and she's changed it to 11:30, which means i was overpaid last week so will loose it this week.
I don't know what that's about, I'm pretty damn sure I put the time down right, but then again it also wouldn't be the first time I've had a brain seizure and mis-read my watch.
(It has no numbers on the face y'see, as well as shiny hands and a holographic background you can't look at in direct sunlinght because it will burn off your retina.)
So, have to ask her about that at some point.
Not hugely fussed either way cause I know I've wrung extra time out of her here and there on a number of occasions, just by dint of having to round all start/finish times to the nearest quarter hour because otherwise she can't work out the maths. It's just the principal of the thing and an entire hour is plain old confusing me.
My car is apparently definitely sporting a leaky radiator now, JR insists that's what it is so I had to get the bus back today. Missed the first one by about 45 seconds so I wandered round town for a bit while I was waiting.
SFX has an X2 cover but I have no idea whether the contents will yeild anything as yet unseen.
And then when I was pootling through The Works some girl walks past me, stops, turns, says hello in that kind of way you reserve especially for people you've not seen in a while, grins at me then walks on.
*blinks*
I'm just standing there thinking "who in the fuck was that...?"
Definitely no one from college... could have been someone from the art college I suppose but I wasn't actually there very long and stayed mostly out the way cause they were all barking... *shrugs*
Yet another thing that shall be left forever a mystery.
And now I need lunch and Evo's on TV...
