lady_t_220I think, fingers crossed, my temperature may have equalised out a bit for the first time all day. I was fucking FREEZING earlier, despite the hot sunny weather of loveliness.
That said, my lungs kind of hate me right now, and the only thing that's succeeded in getting rid of the gross taste in my mouth is a good slug of Buttercup Syrup.
But YEY! Dr Who tonight (I enjoyed last week's for the most part but the whole notion that Space-whales need hugs too was kind of up there with Tennant's early episode of Hug-a-Plague!Zombie. Sometimes it just kinda'... aims and then misses a bit.) But so far I'm liking Eleven on the most part. I certainly really like his slightly more flippant, unconcerned persona. I'm not entirely certain he's yet been able to convince me that he can pull off any real sense of gravitas, but then we've only had two episodes and these things take time to develop. I think it's just because Ten had that squishily expressive face, it lent itself to angst so easily off the bat.
And now... hm, time to see if dinner will actually be cooked before Who starts this week...
