Having major fits of envy. My mother just got given a new iPhone 3GS for FREE, from WORK, for "research purposes"...

DAMNIT!

OK, it's PAYG so it'll cost a fortune to actually do anything on it, but still... I have envy pains. We wants the shiny.


Pool was good, did an extra 6 lengths today, had agonishingly healthy lunch, and then ate cookies and Kinder Bueno so undid all the hard work but *eh* what ya gonna' do?

I usually undo my workouts with food too. What good is the iPhone if you can't actually do anything with it.

I'm really wondering at the college's choice to go with PAYG. The flat-rate monthly tariff gives you unlimited free data transfer. The PAYG is £3/MB (!!!?!)
Calls there's not much difference either way, but use 10MB of data traffic surfing the web or fucking around with apps they may as well have just got the monthly tariff.

I have reigned in my I-want-itis as far as the 3GS is concerned when one of the guys at my cell phone company told me that the iPhone 4G should be coming out this summer =))
