Stoopid Llama is speshul
Feb. 16th, 2010 05:42 pmUgh. Stamp 'idiot' on my forehead, I'm done for the day.
Managed to leave not just my keys, but also my phone AND my wallet at
gourami_tea's this afternoon.
I feel like I now truly understand Donna Noble's exhasperation at the lack of POCKETS. My jeans have no pockets, ergo I popped all my portable stuff down at R's place for safekeeping while we went out for the swimmings, and then I totally forgot to pick them up again.
I remembered my tupperware, but not the actual important things that are actually important.
*d'oh!*
I shall have to go back and retrieve them. Preferably while wearing something that does actually have some manner of storage capacity.
("Wherefore is your handbag, LT?" you may legitimately ask. Well, the catch has broken and now it gapes open annoyingly and I haven't found anything suitable with which to replace it yet. Because I haven't had enough cash to justify a trip to the city to go rooting through the geeky shops for a new messenger bag. I may have to re-think this as slightly more of a priority.)
Still, I did my swimming, despite it being one of those days where *everything* just feels like hard frickin' work. Some days I'll do my 50 lengths and barely feel winded. Today I was knackered after 20 and forcing myself through from that point on. (And then undid all the good work achieved therein by devouring pancakes smothered in Nutella. But it IS pancake day, damnit.
I guess I'll be working those off with a brisk walk back up to
gourami_tea's tomorrow to retrieve my crap.)
In other news, I am very tired and I think I tweaked my shoulder a little in the pool. It does not feel overly happy.

Date: 2010-02-16 08:16 pm (UTC)This was $6 and I've been using it a lot. Green with a small peace sign on it and padded for the netbook... Was the only one tossed in with out of date calendars and such.
