lady_t_220It's official. The world has gone FUCKING MENTAL.
In short, for those not clicking, a Punjab-born Sikh guy wants to join the BNP to fight Islamic fundamentalism in the UK. That's like a Jewish guy joining the KKK to fight inner-city gang crime. It just... it doesn't work like that.
Though the BNP have been ordered by the courts to allow all ethnic groups to join or else lose its status as a legitimate political party, it just blows my mind that any immigrant to this country would want to join a party that is blanket opposed to immigration. It's like saying "Well, it was fine when I emmigrated here, but I'm an exception and all those new immigrants suck..."
Two opposed right-wing regimes facing off against each other do not a moderate centre make. They just mostly result in a lot of flapping in circles and probably slamming into walls.
