Feb. 15th, 2010 03:12 pmBeen futzing around in adobe most of today so far, in between helping out Uncle D with the kidlets. ('Bout a 50/50 split thus far, in terms of productivity.)
But I've been pondering the best way of adapting some sketches into maybe t-shirt designs. My problem at the moment is figuring out the best thing to do to take a pencil sketch and get from it eventually a clean-edged, solid black outline. I'm sure there is a simple way to draw a clean, smooth curved line other than freehand, I'm just not... actually certain how. I'm assuming it involves those line and object-drawing tools I generally avoid because I don't know what they do or how to make them work the way I want and, currently, I'm too damn lazy to go hunting down a tutorial.
So I wound up making icons instead. Because I know how to do those.
I kept a bunch for me but there's also a little set of blanks and bases I'm not going to use so, if anyone wants them, feel free to grab.
