Well, firefox at least seems to have fixed itself after re-starting it. That's good.

Did swimming today. That's also good.

Am very knackered. That is less good, but could have been worse.

Mostly because it's a side-effect of how I began my day. Because just for the record, high on the list of not-fun ways to be woken up first thing in the morning is being jolted awake by the smoke alarm going off for no reason.
OK it could have been worse, it could have been going off because the house was on fire, that would have been very bad indeed, but at least then you'd know what you were dealing with. When it goes off for absolutely no discernable reason, well then that just makes you paranoid.

Yeah. Though usually with these ones, when the battery is fading they just start to chirp, not full out set off the alarm. Which is why it came as somewhat of a random way to wake up.

No one had taken a steamy shower and left the bathroom door open> I know from experience that this will set off the detector. The moist air causes it to go off for some reason.

Nope, no steam. Just random insane smoke detector.

The bathroom used to set off the one in the hall sometimes, but the one that went mad this morning was in the living room.
