You might wanna' look away NOW for the one reason I'm glad it's the piano stool leaping Peter Allen picture they reproduced as opposed to anything else. (Cause let's face it, sparkly maroon and maraccas isn't a good look on ANYONE.)

On the other hand I wouldn't have objected to this one, but it is a pose that would make pretty much anyone look astoundingly gay.
Or like a reject from Riverdance, one of the two.
Maybe even both.

You're right! LOL! It does look like he only has one leg. I wouldn't have objected to Hugh in tight black pants, though.

Oh, and you've heard Hugh's gonna be shaking his maracas, yes? No, I mean literally maracas. There was an interview where he talked about dancing in front of Oscar to practice and making him laugh. So we might be seeing a similar outfit to the first one.

Yeah, I knew about the maraccas... :D I said to someone after carousel last year that I was looking forward to seeing him shake his maraccas in tight white pants, cause I have a sick sense of humour.

As for Hughfest, Well I will be seeing it but I don't know exactly when. I'm taking in a visit to a friend of mine in NJ at the same time so whether it'll overlap with you guys I have no clue.

Have to wait and see I guess.

Yep. September 26, 2003. We're going to a preview performance 'cause we figured it'd be less full and that Hugh'd be more amenable to fannish meeting/pictures/autographing stuff if he wasn't doing the official show yet and busy with all the hyping that goes with it. We've already paid, too, since group tickets went on sale before individual tickets.

Actually Heather (the Hugh_Jackman list mum) is really good about getting in touch with Hugh and/or his assistants. If we do end up mobbing him out back, he'll already know we're there waiting for him. That's what they did for Carousel. She'd caught Hugh earlier in the day and asked if he'd be amenable to autographs after the show, so he knew when and where they'd be.
