My disdain for all things Big Brother beyond the initial first series (which played out more like a social experiment than car-crash TV) is well known. But as there's nothing else on and it's inoffensive moving wallpaper when it's on mute, what the cracking hell is going on with the celebrity BB selection this year?
Stephen Baldwin? Really? Because Americans electing Obama is so morally offensive to your born-again christian poitical viewpoint that you threatened to leave the country, but going to England to get locked in a mire of cheap and tawdry tabloid fodder with a random topless model, a one-nippled part-time transvestite cage fighter that's shagging Katie Price and infamous hooker-arranger Heidi Fleiss, well that's just fine!
I know religion and hypocracy go hand-in-glove at times but that's genuinely quite impressive.
(I guess it's all OK so long as it pays off that big ol' debt, right, eh Steve?)
