Quickie update

lady_t_220Home, home again. Not a bad day at work, all told. Moved a lot of beds and assorted pieces of furniture and hoovered behind them, but I got to hang out with R all day cause there's no way in hell you can move those kingsize zip-locks on your own. So that was pretty good.
Gonna' have a bitch of a time putting back all those vallance sheets in a day or so though. We stripped them off 5 rooms because they were getting pretty filthy what with trailing on the floor so often, so when they've been through the laundry we get to do a lot of matress lifting. *blech*...
Feel all randomly energetic right now though. Was all sloth-like when I first got up but now I'm champing at the bit to be productive. Weird how it gets you like that.
Had a message from Deke the other night. A final no to the CCUK. I'm kinda' not hugely surprised. Sad I won't get to see her, definitely, but I guess from an economic standpoint there are far more sensible ways of spending that much money.
But, I'm nothing if not persistent and/or bloody-minded so we WILL meet again, my dear... at some point, at some future event, you can bet your wee cotten socksies on it.
Us semi-compulsive globe-trotters all need somewhere to trot TO so who knows, maybe in a future year we can have a CCColorado, that way you won't have to travel at all ;)
Now, I need lunch before Evo starts...
