Sleuth Magic
Mar. 1st, 2003 06:26 pmSo tired now... having trouble keeping my eyes open. they go all wibbly if I stare at text for too long, my usual indicator that I need to pack in the reading and, like... sleep or something.
New series of Johnathan Creek starting at 9 tonight! \^v^/ *does the happy dance of sleuth magic joy*
Love love love love that program... And I will admit to being sad and remembering almost every single episode aired so far. ;) I've probably missed one or two along the way somewhere, but I know I've seen most of them.
When I'm rich I might actually get round to buying the DVD sets...

I'll give it a good home and worship it daily ;)
Thankyou :)
Re:
Date: 2003-03-01 03:14 pm (UTC)Sorry the quality's a little squiff, but it was a bad video screencap I found a long while ago. Some day I'll have to learn how to make caps from the DVD version ;)

Re:
Date: 2003-03-01 03:32 pm (UTC)Though personally I prefer the sleepyhugh from Halifax, the quality is even worse.
But if you're feeling really nosey you can see my current desktop here

Gulp!
That pic looks like he's staring straight at you!
And the dark colours really set it off!
You can even see the dimple in his chin and the little furrow between his eyebrows *meep*
Ok, that one's got to win hands down especially with those lyrics.
Re:
Date: 2003-03-01 03:48 pm (UTC)Yeah, bless... days of the dodgy 80's haircut ^__^
That and, you know... Halifax has that sex scene in it which is always a bonus. Though I swear that woman looks like she's watching the weather channel or something... [facepalm]

I love that picture... love that song too. Aerosmith, handy for all occasions though I believe it was a cover version.
Re:
Date: 2003-03-01 04:01 pm (UTC)Well, you have me there, because I haven't seen it :(
She seriously looked like that?
Was deranged???

I love that song too!
It was originally done by Julie London in the fifties, she had such a sultry voice and put so much emotion it in!
Did you make the wallpaper?

Yeah, I have it kicking around on an NTSC video here somewhere... and yes she did.
She was supposed to be doing "emotionally detatched". Sadly she does just look awfully expressionless. ;p

Ahh, did wonder.
Did you make the wallpaper?
Yup yup. There's a bunch of them on my pathetically inadequate website

OooHHH! I think I'll pay it a visit and have a look.
You can never get bored looking at Hugh/Wolvie pics right?
And I think you did a great job on the W/P very classy looking and the lyrics are perfect!
Re:

It is, in all honesty, a pretty bad show in places, but really has to be seen just for the hughsex and the continual wandering around picking up telephones.
[Quick, the action's slow... shove Hugh on in the background to pick up a telephone...]
And I think you did a great job on the W/P very classy looking and the lyrics are perfect!
Why thankyou :D
Some of them are better than others, and some of them are just plain dumb. I just like making wallpaper.
Of course I REALLY like making wallpaper that looks like advertising for some strange reason.
"Thighs" and "Vanilla" (both on page 3) are my personal favourites. :)

I knew there was going to be something witty coming after that. LOL!
ROFL! The Hugh Jackman kidnapping society *g*

I haven't looked at them all yet, but I see what you mean!
I love the word on Vanilla *sigh*
Re:
Date: 2003-03-02 12:01 am (UTC)The only problem with them is that they suck away my bandwidth something hideous. I have to moce my site elsewhere at some point along the line, I just haven't really had time for it yet.
