So, back from work, got paid for last week but now already broke cause 99% of it went right in the bank to pay off that TV...
Light day... I feel uncomfortable, like I forgot to do something I was supposed to not forget about. Like dusting out behind the fireplace in 8 or doing that dado rails in 14 or something...
I'm always forgetting sodding dado rails. You'd never think they really got that dusty would you? *sighs*

I think I'm just feeling randomly insecure. And a little... anxious about my new puter. JR's working on it right now. I'm just not looking forward to having to put back together all the things that made it *mine*.
I'm feeling stressy. For no good reason randomly stressy outy. And I keep thinking I should go visit my granny. not seen her in a few weeks and just as I was dozing off to sleep last night, random image of her popped up behind my eyelids.
If I ask her about it I'll probably find she was thinking about me at that time or something.
So I should go see her. I just can't QUITE work up the energy.

And on a random note, I have bruises down the side of each thigh where the arm rests on this chair randomly dig into my legs. I'll be very glad to get my own puter back, if only for the comfort of a better chair.

I thought that way when mine died on me just before christmas, it was like losing my best friend *sniff* and when my new one arrived it looked practically sterile!

Even now I've personalized it still feels a little strange. It doesn't seem have the character my old faithful did. Weird I know it's a piece of machinery, but it had that worn in comfortable feel!

I'm having a minor spasm about it right now because we can't seem to make the screen res 1024x768... which is stupid cause it's exactly the same screen as it was before.
*sighs and hangs head* I NEED by big screen... I sit with my face pressed against it on the most part, anyththing closer to 800x600 looks GIGANTIC!

We had similar problems a couple of days ago. My dvd drive wouldn't function on the resolution my screen was set to and we had to lower the res. Now we get error messages when we try and restore it to what it was previous.

Still trying to sort it *sigh*

JR found it was because he'd set the screen refresh to optimal as opposed to default. It couldn't refresh that fast AND be hi-res at the same time.
*rolls eyes*
