Watching kiddie news

lady_t_220Prisoner of Azkaban starts filming on Monday apparently. Newsround was trying to be all mysterious about who Timothy Spall was playing then sat around dropping hints about rats. *raises a brow* Now let me think... it's a tough one.
*yawns* Sleepy again, though I'd guess that had a lot more to do with only getting 3 hours of solid sleep last night.
Kinda' bored too. So in the current lack of really good, original new fic out there I've resorted to going back and re-reading some of the ooooooold fics. Stuff that came out right at the start of this whole bizarre craze we call a fandom.
Some of them weren't as good as I remembered. Given the dire level of some of the new fic that's out there I start to wonder when my standards got so high.
That's probably a good thing though. It does tend to drive me to write something better in the endless quest to "write something that you would like to read".
Cause in the end that's what we're doing, right? Filling the gaps with the things that we'd like to see happen.
