Decorations are UP. At long damn last.
Mince pies are still not made but... eeeeeuunghwhatever. This cold has decided to sink into my brain so I will be having a nice hot bath, an early night, and as late a morning as possible considering the noise that usually accompanies Sunday mornings.

Woozy llama is a trifle woozy.

So I was channel hopping the other night and Drop Dead Fred was on one of the movie channels. Man I haven't seen that film since I was little.
It was a lot cuter than I remembered, cause I remember bits of it used to scare the bejeezus outta' me when I was small.
Watching it again now though, I really left with two thoughts... One, damn how stinking adorable was Rik Mayall with that little girl?
And Two... I bet somewhere, people ship Fred with her adult incarnation.

On the topic of which, semi-relatedly...
Grim Tales!
It was Jackanory for the weird kids. With that chair that had moving hands and ostrich legs. Which you hardly ever see in the actual show but yet lodged in the brain as all good weird things should.
Youtube I love you.

You could always buy some mince pies from M&S, if you get desperate.

Would that I could. I really can't eat store-bought mince pies, no matter where they're from. A huge amount of them contain acetic acid to give the sour bite instead of lemon juice and to me it just tastes entirely of vinegar. It's why I make my own.
