Behold the happy happy
Feb. 17th, 2003 04:37 pmSo we've hooked it up, tried it, tested it, watched R1 DVDs and yeeeeah baby, we have colour picture on those NTSC movies :D *does the ludicrously happy dance*
We also have pretty widescreen where applicable and all in all things are good.
The sound's great, the picture quality is as good as it's going to get for the money (could be better but the price hike isn't worth it) and now it's all set up again it's nice and easy to navigate. Undoubtedly the parental units will have trouble with the aspect ratio funtions (all of one button to flip between them. ooooh) but other than that, LT is a happy camper with a new TV ;)
Now if only the old one would fit in my room, cause my room TV's deader than a can of spam.
Well, ok, not as dead as Dekie's all blue all the time but the colour knob's on the fritz and seems to have no middle ground. We're either washed out or alarmingly lurid. Only liberal application of blu-tac seems to solve it. ;p
