I think I slept kinda' heavy in an unsually non-moving kind of way. (I'm a fidgety sleeper FYI) so I'm all stiff down one side now.

Ouch.

So today would be the wild excitement of the grocery shopping, followed by a whole day of -really, not much-

But that's ok, I'm sure tomorrow will be filled with many hours of mindless running around in circles instead.
I also still want cake so when the maternal one goes shopping I think I'll pick up some relevant bits and pieces.

Does anyone know WTF event that was? Cause he's wearing the Chamber Live outfit but there's a Tony banner in the background... and with Hugh's propensity for recycling clothes I have no idea where he is or who those people are.

I'm a little confused here actually. I thought my current challenge was "Harmony and Beauty" but apparently I've already done that one. So I have no idea if I even had a set challenge this time around. If I did, then I've forgotten it. So I'm filling in the special requests left over from the last time I threw the field open.

Juice, a colloquialism for alcohol, hand in hand with the notion of painting the town red. Red here is represented by the placemat in the quintessential pub, my pint of Strongbow is the juice and the spork here is a metaphor for the nature of wild abandon and chaos. The random and the irrational pursuits, inherant in the poking device which is neither fork nor spoon; cutlery yet weaponry, but yet holds such sway over our online culture.

Sieze the day... seized, invaded, ran amok on it, at it, in it... late evening here, the last of the sunshine barely breaking through at the end of a day fully embraced, the tide ebbing like the sunlight from the sands we spent our day upon.

This is also the only beach photo I have from my holiday that doesn't require scanning in first... It was like that for miles.

OK, by Proxy (because she seems to have vanished and I've not heard from her in far too long...)

elouesa sent these to my phone a while ago rather than posting them herself, and as we have a slight compatability issue between us, my cellphone shrinks them down to half the size they should be. This is, sadly, unavoidable. Should she finally get around to posting these herself I'll edit the pics accordingly but this is the best I can do. Figured I'd post them now rather than wait indefinitely for El to reappear.

Oh dear... mother's not in the spankiest of moods today. She was dusting the hi-fi and caught the wire which connects the DVD player to the surround-sound... the wire goes up the wall and drapes behind JR's collection of coronation mugs as crash, bang, comedy-tinkling-noise... they fell off the shelf. Broke 2, cracked a 3rd...

She's in a huff cause the wire was loose and "an accident waiting to happen" which is mostly her being defensive cause she's peeved about breaking the mugs. Cause it's been like that for a year already and never been an issue. So she's effectively getting cranky at JR for leaving the wire there in a pre-emptive way before he can get home and be cranky about the broken mugs... which is all very silly and IMHO just shows she's been spring-cleaning too much cause she only gets irrational like that when she's tired and strung-out.

Mummy should go take a nap. The cupboard under the sink can wait a few hours to be scrubbed out. It's been like that a while, it's not going to get worse while you take a breather...

Ah well. It's not like they were valuable mugs exactly. All the glaze was crazed anyway and, while yes, they're getting on a bit, they still come under the heading of mass-produced so I think even the most expensive one was only about 15 quid. So you seem this...? This kind of thing?

This is what eBay was invented for.

K&BW are back from their Scottish vacation. By all accounts, the bits not spent in and out of hospital with intense yet strangely inexplicable gastric pain were a lot of fun. The rest of it I'm guessing, ehhh, not so hot.

I think I'm gonna' go hit the tub and take a nice long soak. There's a Sakura bath-bomb with my name all over it and a couple of Hughs that need a good soapy molesting...

Random quick question.

Do you get Babycham in the US? I know it's like a kitsch classic here (It's the happiest drink in the world!) but I didn't want to throw it into a fic as a random referance then get 20 people all e-mailing me and asking WTF it is.
