It's Sunday. It's obligatory.
Jun. 5th, 2005 08:05 pmYegods, I just realised it's pushing on 8pm and I have said naery a sausage in my journal all day.
Done plenty of commenting in other people's though, so I guess that's where the time went ^^;
However, it is Sunday so it was pretty much a given from the outset that it'd be an uneventful day. I nipped down to the shops to pick up the bits and pieces the maternal one neglected to get when she went shopping on Friday (she had a trolley with a list to the left, and since they reorganised the store she complained that she couldn't find anything she wanted so she got frustrated with both and came home with only half the groceries... I guess that's the only advantage to the granny's obsessive compulsive grocery-wanting disorder, I spend so much time down there I actually know where things are even with the new layout.)
I need to get to the post office sooner rather than later, I need to pick up another string of self-adhesive customs lables and post View's thing while I'm at it, and get a box for the Pup's thing... and I was cutting and mounting a load of photos yesterday and have thusly done something to the muscle down the edge of my thumb due to the force required to cut through that much mountboard.
One of these days, I will get myself one of those poncy mount-cutters that slices at an attrctive 45 degree angle and everything. That'd be nice. I should have looked at the prices when I was in Hobbycraft yesterday. Ah well.
Work tomorrow, (bah, humbug) but as for right now my belly is pleasingly full of mustard-roasted beef so I shall head yonder and digest, and contemplate the need to start on the laundry again.
*sigh*
It never ends...
(Nor does my desire to have teh hot rampant monkey-sex with this guy but that's totally beside the point. Sadly the laundry stands more chance of getting done than I do.)
Curse you, cruel world.
