Actually, that's not entirely it. It's more a case of knowing that as soon as I arrange a time to go see the newgalleryLady I have to work out what the hell I'm supposed to be taking over there and truth to say I don't quite know what to pack up and take with as being representatively saleable. As I don't know if, like with gallery guy, she's going to go yeah, that's nice but I can't sell it so bring me something totally out of left field with no idea how we got to there from here. Or what. Because I have never even *seen* her gallery and have no idea what it may cater towards. So I guess really I need to go shut the fuck up and go do something about arranging a day first and then worry about it afterwards, right? *slaps self*

Or, and here's a novel idea, go visit her gallery incognito, do a recce, then come home and decide what to take with you. THEN give her a phone call.

I actually would, but it's kind of a drive away and I have no car thanks to JR crashing mine. So I can only go over there when I can get someone to take me.

Ah. That does present a problem. I'd offer to take you except it's a 200 mile drive from here to there... Perhaps you could persuade someone more local? Or, get someone to go take a look at the gallery for you and ring you up with details?

Really, I don't understand myself. I do generally dislike the phone, I'd much rather face-to-face someone any day of the week but you know, mundane crap, insurance companies, banks, bills, whatever the heck, that's fiiiiine... used the phone all the time at the big red with barely a second thought.

Yes, I know I suck, and she was actually very nice when I did finally get round to it, but there you go. There's no accounting for the contents of my brain.

On the up side mind, I did finally get round to hoovering the floor in here.

I'm the same way - I drive the boss nuts because I usually like to talk with someone face-to-face rather than send an email (which I know can be documented but is so less personal). Phones, too, are hard, especially, like you said, when it's personal.

Glad you spoke with her. Also glad you hoovered. I'm sadly lacking in that area, and the kids tracked in a lot on Sunday that I haven't had a chance to clean yet.
