Oh, it's all looking horribly bad...

Motherboard, definitely was gone. Was replaced and JR could once more get into the bios. Booted up to the welcome screen aaaaand... BSOD'd, now reporting registry errors it refuses to fix. Doesn't seem to like anything he's done to it so far and is looking like a total re-install job. Documents *should* still all be safe on other HD so I'll probably just be losing my bookmarks. We did hook it up to another computer to try and get at them but firefox seemed reluctant to relinquish them no matter what we tried. Kind of given up on that, therefore. It's annoying for sure but bookmarks are not the end of the world. I guess.

Ugh, I feel crappy. And needlessly upset by all this. And frustrated. I need a hug. :(
