lady_t_220Just got my birthday present form my granny. A nice crispy 20 quid that I can blow on alcohol and souvenir trinkets tomorrow.
She'd actually forgotten that it was my birthday. The stunned "... Really...? I though it was in October..." kind of gave that away. I'm like, uh, no granny, that's your other grandchild...
Said grandchild is currently out on an emergency birthday card hunt. It appears he forgot as well. Even though we're going away for two days because of it. *slaps head*
That's the problem with getting older. You can't run around yelling "It's nearly my birthday! It's nearly my birthday!" every 5 seconds. (Though in my defence I do try.)
Work was boring and this trapped nerve thing is aggravated by typing, so I guess I'd better stop.
