Insert that grunted frustration
Jan. 22nd, 2003 12:02 pmWelcome back, Writer's Block, we all missed you...
The end of this darned L/R fic is giving me gyp. Mostly because although I have one it's not a very good one. I just can't think of anything better offhand.
As an illustration, I wrote 4 lines then started dusting my computer station as a distraction.
I didn't get very far because I don't like dusting very much either, but once you've done one bit you have to do the rest of it otherwise the dust levels don't match...
I think I should just scrap this end and wait until something better happens along in my mind. Maybe work on one of the other eighty billion fics I have lying around unfinished.
As you can tell by the fact that I'm here making pointless LJ posts and not at work, R's mum must be out of the hospital or at least doing better than she was, so I got to sleep in this morning.
Not too late though, the dog woke me up at 9 because Andy had turned up. He's taking JR's rust pile excuse for a van for an MOT so they'll be working on that later I expect. It's not going to pass because it's a big pile of crap, it just seems like an expensive way of getting a pre-prepared list of all the things that are wrong with it. But that's just my opinion and JR's never yet taken a blind bit of notice of that ;)
I'm trying to work out what I want for lunch. Or dinner for that matter. Seeing as I have all day I could actually cook something edible.
Mum'll want chilli... she always wants chilli. She's going through one of her rice fetish moments again. Me... eh, not feeling chilli-ish. Feel more in the mood for soup but that's just because it's raining again. Or at least trying to.
