Yes, I am comparing getting up at 6am and pretending that it's 7am to the same level of evil as congealed custard.
I was just getting used to leaving the house in the morning when the sun was up and it was getting warm. Now we're back to getting up when it's semi-gloomy and dawn-cold and my long-standing loathing for BST continues uninterrupted.
Boo.
In other news, had dinner at Sci-Lady's on Saturday and that was surprisingly entertaining. We should have science socials more often. We also invited the new hire technician who technically hasn't started yet, cause she starts when the rest of us are off on easter break, so... that was nice. She got to meet most of the rest of the department.
Also Sci-lady has a very nice house and a very angry dog.
"Is he of uncertain temperament?" asked the maternal?
"No," she replied. "His temperament is VERY certain. He's just agressive."
