Today, finished the downstairs bathroom, cut the new lino, had some issues putting the towel rail back on for reasons that really don't deserve going into right now... it's all looking pretty good, though you can still see a bit of a line where the tiles used to be but.. ehhhhh~~ give it a couple of years and madam downstairs wants to get it re-fitted anyway so whatever. (She's going to have to, the bloody cistern is leaking, I discovered.

I have this coming week to touch up the living room, which is good cause mum's going back to work on Monday (I'm going back after Discworld) and then I am FINISHED.


In other news, it's revoltingly humid here today, I'm seriously contemplating my second shower of the day, and this morning I had to pop out and buy some Benadryl for the dog. His hayfever flared up horribly this morning, his eyes were all puffed up and swollen, and as the Vet's isn't open at the weekend except for major emergencies, Dr Google says dogs + antihistamines = fiiiiine. Even dredged up innumerable weight/dosage rates, which was helpful.
His face seems to have deflated, and it's knocked him out quite successfully if nothing else.

Nothing more pathetic than a dog squinting at you with red, puffy eyes and snot dribbling down his face. Eeesh.
