Why, yes, I may quite possibly be taking massive advantage of the really nice new colour printer for which I don't have to buy the toner refills.
Why yes, it IS possibly related to the fact that my own printer is out of ink and the fuckers are nearly £30 a go...
Woke up late, spent the tail-end of the morning cleaning up a bit in the bedroom (horrors!) and hoovering and suchlike, and now I'm at somewhat of a loose end. I want to write but this cold just will. Not. DIE, and it's impairing my capacity to think of... you know... words and stuff.
(Plus, I don't know what the hell came out of my nose this morning but I swear it was blinking back at me.)
I kind of want to bake but I have a horrible feeling that anything I try today is going to be doomed to failure.
Boiler guy should be coming nearer the end of this week, at last. Not looking forward to that, I'll admit right now. The heating and hot water will be great to get back but I really hate having workmen roaming around the place. It's not the mess I mind so much, it's more the inability to potter about my day unobserved. There's nothing more awkward than staggering into the kitchen in your jammies in search of coffee and finding half a dozen builders blinking back at you, expectantly pining for tea.
