So, I ended up making muffins in the end anyway. At quarter to midnight. Because I couldn't face looking at another plain berry without wanting to scream at it.
I'm pretty sure that's some kind of not-good but, hey-ho.

Oh God the new RDJ!Sherlock movie trailer is out. I am DEAD OF LULZ AND SQUEE.
No, really, I am almost as excited by that as I am by the new series of BBC!Sherlock.

What can I say? SHER ALL THE LOCKS! The sheer burning heterosexuality will surely be my undoing. XD

Just made the most AMAZING honey mustard hot chicken salad. I made some tweaks to the book recipe, mostly in ways that involved marinading the chicken for longer and switching the now-out-of-season asparagus for red pepper and spring onions. Threw in some extra garlic and *omnomnomnomnom*
Soooo goooooooood...

Mmm, sated llama is sated. Also considering the recipe has a handful of new potatoes in it, I think it has the potential to be adapted into a pretty freakin' amazing alternative to potato salad if such a thing is ever called for. The maternal certainly approved...

I'm contemplating making ginger beer again.

I shouldn't, cause it's REALLY fucking full of sugar... not to mention when you do it right it's also REALLY fucking alcoholic. But it's so, soooo... yummy...

...and terrifying. But mostly yummy.


...and mildly volatile and really needs incredibly sturdy fizzy drink bottles because it has been known to make them inflate like a balloon from the pressure build-up...
