Regarding Game of Thrones: I just want to say that every time I see someone tweet about or otherwise mention Jon Snow... I immediately think of THIS Jon Snow and am, momentarily, deeply confused.

Every. Single. Time.

Though I must say it does make for an unusual alternative version in my head.


So anyway, this morning I was supposed to take the car out to get MOT'd. I got up early and everything, got downstairs and discovered that JR was gonna' do it instead.
Not that I especially care either way- in fact I'm quite glad it's not my problem cause I'm expecting a package this morning and would quite like to be home to sign for it- but I would have appreciated being informed of this decision before I dragged my arse out of bed early and got dressed and all that kind of thing.
Rather more annoyingly, I have to walk down there and retrieve the car later. That's gonna' suck. It's either going to be blazingly hot or pissing it down as that seems to be the only weather we actually have at the moment.

Car went in for its MOT today. And actually passed. Much to the shock of everyone, especially the guys at the garage.
Still, it's good, we'll get another year out of her yet.

Had to walk up there to retrieve the car though and bugger it's hot out. I said it'd go either way today, and it went hot. So yey, didn't have to walk in the rain. But boo, slightly sweaty boiled llama.

Also Boo, I was right in the middle of a surprisingly productive writing jag right when they called to tell me I needed to collect it, and now I've totally lost the train of thought I was working from. Which is kind of an arse.


Now I am all hot and uncomfortable and stuff. Bah.
