Oh, by the by, that DVD I was complaining had a glitch the other day? Works just peachy on the DVD player downstairs. Which leads to a couple of possible conclusions- 1, the DVD player downstairs is more tollerant of glitches, 2, the DVD player upstairs is starting to show its age which is a horrifying thought because it's a really excellent multi-region, or 3, it has fluff in it.
I'm veering towards option 3 just because fluff in the electronics is a constant issue thanks to the demented and ever-moulting dog.

Either way, if I want to watch To The Ends of the Earth again, I'll just have to watch it downstairs, on the BIG telly. Ohh, the hardship...

My review of The Crimson Petal And The White (part 1) is now up on TDF. Good stuff, distinctly mucky, visually striking, and I defy you to ever look at Richard E Grant without squinking out just a little bit ever again.
