Dec. 26th, 2008 08:52 pmTown today was, mercifully, quite quiet. Considering it was HOMG BOXING DAY SALES! let us not forget half the places don't actually open until tomorrow anyway and the people of this here town are just not that enthusiastic about bargain hunting in the cold when they could be home eating leftover turkey and getting drunk. It'll probably be heaving tomorrow though. Next opens at 5am for God's sake. *horrified face*
So I got myself a couple of pairs of jeans to replace the ones recently thrown away, and had a quick poke around the Zavvi sale. I was generally underwhelmed. Most everything I wanted was either already gone or still cheaper on Amazon, but I got Beowulf and the 3-disk Director's cut of Hellboy for a price I was willing to pay so it wasn't a total loss.
And besides, thereafter we headed to the cinema and K&BW got their first viewing of Australia. I was most gratified that they *both* liked it. I kind of figured Kat would, but the boy I wasn't so certain about. However he praised it mightily in his currently perpetually-underwhelmed manner by calling it 'good' at least so this pleased me.
I also got my perving time in staring at the Drover a little more this time around.
Yummy. Yummy yummy yummy yummy... I wub he and I want to take him home and scrub him and keep him as my own.
Oh and for the record, the rest of my previous review remains unaltered, including my total lack of noticing Nicole's forehead. I guess I'll just have to go back again...
And now... now I shall go and let the dog out, grab a beer or two, and go clear the last week's worth of randomly recorded whatnots off the V+ box.
