There's a sadly disoriented moth whacking repeatedly into my lampshade. For such a small insect it's remarkably and annoyingly loud.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Lush made something Gaiman-related.
They have a bunch of new stuff listed. It's been way too long since I got over there with any sense of regularity, or had the cash to waste on it. *sigh*

So today... so far seems not as hot as yesterday. Or at least has a bit more breeze making it through the house. We had some spectacular downpours last night, loud enough to wake me up and of the sort that, if continued for a long time, usually results in needing an Ark.


Might finish that sketch today, though looking at it currently I may also just as easily not complete it and try again with something else. These have not been a productive few weeks.

Oh, also... my photo of the New Theatre in Cardiff is on this year's theatre page in Schmap's Cardiff guide.

Which is nice. (And for the record, they solicited me through flickr browsing, so that's not just vanity uploading. Unfortunately it's also unpaid but... eh.)


As a bonus, I got police line tape in the mail this morning. Thank you, ebay. Home of all inexplicable random tat. I need it for Rachie's wedding cake. She wants a crime scene with chalk outlines and stuff. I thought some line tape instead of a ribbon round the outside would just be... beyond awesome.

Now I just have to learn how to tie a nice looking bow out of vynil...
