Hm.

Ever since JR put the new RAM in here, this machine has taken to randomly locking up. Just totally freezes and you have to reboot. *makes somewhat annoyed squinchy face*

Ugh, I'll have to get him to look at it later.

Must say though, *very* glad to be home and back in my own bed. Mmm, bed. Getting out of it again this morning was a battle and one I nearly lost, but was clinched by the joys of not needing to share a bathroom with ten other people. You learn to appreciate the random things in life, I suppose. *g*

For the interested, there's a small selection of photos frm my weekend available over Here. Mostly landscapes and sheep and cows and farmy related things. The weather was kinda' dismal though so a lot of them seemed to end up looking washed out.

But I did get a fun shot of a cow sticking her tongue up her nose.

Talking of livestock, by the way, I don't know if anyone else has ever really observed it, but the older sheep get the more evil they start to look. Our fiends' sheep were incredibly elderly, and as soon as you got near the gate they would *all stop and stare at you*. And bleat. With intent.

It was strangely creepy.

Look at 'em! Just *staring* at me!

*bleats*

Had JR put the previous older RAM back in. Am running a little slower again as a result but we'll see if that fixes my spontaneous crashing disorder and then take it from there.
I can live with a little slower if it means I don't have to keep re-booting at random intervals.

*needs to go the hell to bed*

No, seriously, I have JR lined up to haul the big ol' canvases to the gallery guy tomorrow and I am stressing out leik woah.
Actually, no, that's not entirely true. I'm sort of oddly resigned to failure and that's probably not a good thing but it sort of works for me, to resist high expectations. Then negativity is like a default setting so let-downs really aren't let-downs and good things are a pleasant and unexpected surprise. This is probably not considered clasically healthy.

Still, I did finally get the two canvases propped up more or less next to each other and it seemed to work OK. They lined up pretty well too, considering they were in different rooms the whole time due to space constraints. It's amazing what you can do, running back and forth with a tape-measure
